What you need:

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup witch hazel
  • 40 drops of lemongrass, eucalyptus, tea tree, citronella or rosemary essential oil, or a combination
  • One spray bottle

Add the apple cider vinegar, witch hazel, and essential oils together in the spray bottle. Mix together with a shake and you can get spraying.

This is the ideal repellent to use if you are concerned about the well-being of your skin, as apple cider vinegar is known to balance skin’s pH levels and soothe the skin.

  • 1L Distilled water
  • 1L white vinegar
  • Spray bottle

Simply mix the essential oils, water, and vinegar together in a bowl or directly in the spray bottle. Start off with 10 drops of each essential oil, and add more from there to get a strong enough mixture.

Spray this both indoors and outdoors to keep away ants, mosquitoes, and flies. It also makes the home smell lovely!
