The truth is you don’t need even close to a third of the things sold in baby stores. Babies are fairly simple, and with a few essential items and some basics must-haves, you will be able to prepare for your baby, with everything you need, and save money not buying the stuff you will never use!

To help you properly prepare for your newborn baby, and to prevent any unnecessary buying, here is a list of all the things you do need!

Diaper Changing

Be prepared with everything you need for diaper changing from day one. You don’t want to be caught without the essential items you need, and a baby who needs a diaper change!

  • 5 or more cloth or reusable diapers
  • Waterproof covers
  • Changing Pad
  • Barrier creams or rash creams
  • Snaps or Velcro for the diapers
  • Disposable wipes of washcloths for cleaning

  • Two boxes of newborn diapers (do not overbuy now as your baby might grow out of the diapers quicker than expected)
