Entertaining is easy with this Dinosaur Designs platter. Long and wide with a slightly curved lip, this generously sized dish is perfect for parties with your loved ones. The shape is made for sprawling fruit plates, an abundance of cheese, crackers and nuts or a big, creamy pavlova – basically any cold food will do. Once your meal is over, hand wash gently in warm water to preserve the brand’s signature colourful swirled resin. When you’re not entertaining, this platter works well as a decoration piece too. Use it to display knick knacks and other sentimental objects, or fill it with fruit and keep it on your table as a centrepiece. There’s nothing we love more at Bed Threads than a multi-tasking homewares hero. Dinosaur Designs was founded in Sydney in 1985 by Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy. From their early days, retailing painted resin jewellery items at the Paddington Markets, to their position as a leading Australian lifestyle brand today, Dinosaur Designs has always remained true to their aesthetic. A love of bright, colourful resin and an affinity for natural and organic design styles is at the heart of the label, from a set of chunky bangles to a marbled serving platter. A Dinosaur Designs piece is instantly recognisable and forever treasured. Sold individually. This serving platter measures approximately 46cm in length, 36.5cm in width and 6cm in height. Suitable for cold food service only. Each piece is handmade and unique and will vary slightly as a result, colours and swirls are a guide only. Resin is a strong and durable material, but it can also break if dropped on a hard surface, so treat your items with care. Hand wash them in warm water only and do not place them in the oven, microwave or dishwasher – resin is not fire resistant. If you want to restore some of the sheen to your resin items after washing, you can rub them with a drop of cooking oil.
